Everybody wants to produce works, sit back and feel very satisfied with the quality of the final product.
Our musicians have been waving the war against non made in Ghana stuff.
These artistes complain of the massive airplay foreign songs are enjoying in Ghana.
The Guinness Big Eruption concert came under massive attack with the two international acts (Akon and Big Sean) billed to perform on the night.
Our local acts argued that the companies do not patronise our local acts.
Again, after the VGMAs another controversy that took over was the huge sums of money the international acts were paid to perform.
The campaign against the neglect of our very own has been with us since independence.
Isn't it hypocritical to talk all the big grammar, point all the accusing fingers and end up toeing the same lane?
That is exactly how our local acts do!
They travel all the way to South Africa(with their crew) and shoot their so called quality videos there and then dump the visuals on Ghanaians.
Is it share luck of creativity and innovation or they just fancy the.celebrity trips and the tags attached to their videos (directed by Nick Campos).
If Ghanaian muscians want us to have faith in their works and probably patronise their work, they must start first.
Paying huge sums of money to shoot videos in foreign lands to the neglect of our own dying industry.
The call for change starts with our local artiste.
Practice what you PREACH! Untill then they must come again!
