RISING STATE OF FAKE BRITISH AND AMERICAN ACCENT IN THE GHANAIAN SHOWBIZ

Every young man and woman today wants some kind of media attention. Thus we are in an era where being a celebrity matters most. It is a craze that has found its root deeply implanted in young women. All one needs to become celebrity today is to star in a local movie, go nude or host a t.v show and then create a fan page on facebook, twitter, instagram or any of the social media platforms.
You tune into a television station and your day is blown off by these wanna be celebrities with fake British or American accent.
They lack the right skills to drill 'celebrities that pass through their shows and most of the time it becomes so boring that celebrities turn to host their shows.
All you need to run your own show is good looks, better 'links', and you can host that 'whack' program of yours.
Most of these shows pathetically are copied ones from the Western world and negatively impact our own culture and industry.
The desire by most young folks to achieve celebrity status often misinforms and paints a blur picture of the Ghanaian showbiz Industry.
Our generation must rise to the occasion! Creativity and Innovation shoud be tools we the 'new' generation can employ to push our industry to greater heights.
